Oct 03, 2011 If anyone knows how I can fix this issue with fallout 3 freezing 10 minutes into the game please let me know. Im on windows 7 and play plenty of games, yet fallout 3 freezes and I have to end the task constantly.

Steam opens up the launcher for the game when I select to play it. But the launcher does nothing exept close itself when I select to play the game on that.
Steam says the game is running when the launcher opens, then says 'syncing' for a split second hen you hit play on the launcher and then doesn't say anything regarding Fallout 3. Task manager also shows that there is no more fallout 3 programs being active after I hit Play on the launcher.
I have uninstalled and reinstalled the game no and that did not change anything.
How do I fix this?
