Bozar
This mod adds Bozar Fallout New Vegas to Ravenfield. The ultimate refinement of the sniper’s art, the Bozar is a scoped, accurate, light machine gun with an ammunition capacity of thirty.223/5.56mm rounds. It delivers phenomenal firepower with great precision and can easily pierce the strongest of defenses. Though somewhat finicky.

The ultimate refinement of the sniper's art, the Bozar is a scoped, accurate, light machine gun with an ammunition capacity of thirty .223/5.56mm rounds. It delivers phenomenal firepower with great precision and can easily pierce the strongest of defenses. Though somewhat finicky and prone to jamming if not kept scrupulously clean and in good repair, its many good qualities more than make up for its extra maintenance requirements.
CharacteristicsEdit
The Bozar is a powerful 5.56mmlight machine gun with an ammunition capacity of 30. Although it appears to be a sniper weapon from its mounted scope, it is fully automatic. It has a lower damage per shot than the light machine gun. However, a higher rate of fire, the use of commonly available ammunition, low AP cost, a remarkably fast reload speed, a high DPS, and lower Spread make it a useful weapon for long and medium distances.

Bozar can fire a total of about 3995 standard rounds, the equivalent of 134 reloads, from full condition before breaking.

- The Gruntperk, added by the Honest Hearts expansion, doesn't affect this weapon, due to the impossibility of enabling content from two separate add-ons to interact.[1]
- The Bozar counts as a unique weapon, so it can be used to satisfy the GRA challenges 'Curios and Relics' and 'Master of the Arsenal' at the same time.
- Can be used to complete the challenge 'Vault 13's Revenge.'
- The magnification level of the scope is 2.43x on this weapon.
- The handling of DT in the game can affect the Bozar's use negatively. At a DT of 4 or more, AP rounds are needed for the best performance. At that point, it is outperformed by weapons like A Light Shining in Darkness due to critical hits, with said weapon being capable of over twice as much DPS by the time enemies possess 25 DT. It can even be outperformed by the Abilene Kid LE BB gun if the player character isn't using AP rounds at a DT of 8 or more and has a sufficiently high critical chance.

- During the development of Fallout 2, the Bozar was supposed to be a sniper rifle rather than an automatic heavy support weapon with a scope, but a mistake was committed during the attribution of the stats and they were kept like that, making the Bozar an atypical weapon.
- The Bozar was planned to be included in S.T.A.L.K.E.R.: Clear Sky as an easter egg, along with the .223 pistol and generic .223 ammunition, but only remains partially implemented in the game's resources.
